Summary: WHAT THIS BOOK IS ABOUT AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT This is the book the Banksters DO NOT want you to read! G. Malcolm Doney, Author The title of this Book conveys a great deal of what this subject is about. It is the Bankster Busters’ Bible and carries the sub-title How to Fight the Banks and Win, which was the title of the first on-line publication by this author in 2009. So what exactly is a Bankster? Well it sounds a lot like Gangster and the icon on the book’s cover is meant to convey that meaning. This title was bestowed upon the Banking industry during The Great Depression following the 1929 Stock Market Crash and in the opinion of the author no title was more justly deserved. Since those terrible days deliberately orchestrated by Banksters, those interrelated industries that control our entire financial system have become even more skilled at the manipulation of the apparent value of fiat money and real assets to its advantage, all behind a mask of respectability, but to the considerable disadvantage of the American people and the rest of the world’s population. In 1914 the Banking industry pulled its biggest confidence trick ever when it persuaded the American Congress and its then President to create the Federal Reserve – a private bank – and to delegate to the owners and controllers of that private bank the power to create and control the country’s legal tender – the US Dollar. Once that scam was securely established as part of the system and the people got used to it, the powers of the Feds as they became known, were stealthily increased until most citizens in the United States, now mistakenly believe that it is a government department whose function is to control the economy by ironing out the excess highs and lows of natural market forces. The truth is that it actually deliberately creates those excesses in order to subject Americans to the cruelest tax of all time, that of the hidden costs of the manipulation of the Dollar and other world currencies. Examples of how this has worked to the disadvantage of Americans are the many stock market debacles and the manipulation of foreign currencies to force devaluations.

Greedy Bastards Book by Dylan Ratigan

Greedy Bastards Book

  • Publisher : Simon and Schuster
  • Release Date : 2012-01-10
  • Category: Political Science
  • Pages : 256
  • ISBN Code: 1451642245

Summary: The host of the eponymous MSNBC show, Dylan Ratigan offers a bold and original post-partisan program to resuscitate the American Dream. At a time of deep concern with the state of America’s economy and government, it seems that all the media can give us is talking (or screaming) heads who revel in partisan brinkmanship. Then there’s Dylan Ratigan—an award-winning journalist respected and admired across the political spectrum. In Greedy Bastards, he rips the lid off of our deeply crooked system—and offers a way out. Employing the nuanced reporting and critical analysis that have earned him so much respect, Ratigan describes the five “vampires” that are sucking the nation dry, including an educational system that values mediocrity above all else; a healthcare system that is among the priciest and least-effective infrastructures in the industrialized world; a political system in which lobbyists write legislation; a “master-slave” relationship with our Chinese bankers; and an addiction to foreign oil that has sapped our willingness to innovate. In offering solutions to these formidable and entrenched obstacles, he does nothing less than lay the groundwork for a political movement dedicated to tackling the rot at the heart of the country. In its desperation, America needs more than just endless stock tips and Wall Street navel-gazing. It needs passionate debate and smart policy—and a hero to take on the establishment. Dylan Ratigan is that hero, and this is the book that will rally people behind him.

Summary: How did a charismatic young president elected in an atmosphere of optimism and expectation lead the United States to the brink of revolution? From a chance encounter in the early 1980s to the Democratic primaries of 2007-08, syndicated columnist and political cartoonist Ted Rall was one of the first to size up Barack Obama as we know him now: conservative, risk-averse and tonedeaf. In The Book of Obama Rall revisits the rapid rise and dizzying fall of Obama--and the emergence of the Tea Party and Occupy movements--and draws a startling conclusion: We the People weren't lied to. We lied to ourselves, both about Obama and the two-party system. We voted when we ought to have revolted.

Summary: 1929... On Wall Street, during the worst financial crisis the world had ever seen, the word "Banksters" was coined to describe those ruthless individuals who had gambled away the country's wealth. 2009... The phrase "Banksters" is resurrected as David Murphy and Martina Devlin describe the shocking story of how the Irish banking system was brought to its knees by a corrupt elite driven by profit and greed.Banksters examines the events which triggered the near collapse of Ireland's banking system, when it unfolded that a privileged 'golden circle', caught up in a frenzy of greed and opportunism, had gambled and lost with the deposits and pensions of the Irish people. It charts how an unprecedented orgy of over-borrowing - fuelled by bankers who threw out the rule book on lending and reckless tax breaks from cavalier politicians -caused a massively over-inflated property bubble. While bank shares climbed to dizzying heights, profits soared and executives earned enormous bonuses, those who cried 'stop!' were shouted down. But there was no promised 'soft landing' when, in September 2008, bankers overnight went from being pillars of society to pariahs. When the word 'Ireland' became synonymous with corruption in the global lending markets. When a generation learned it would pay a high price for the arrogance and greed of its business elite. Banksters is a hard-hitting read that, were it fiction, might not be believed. In describing the key players, their motivations, personalities and lavish lifestyles it poses the all-important questions: who is answerable - and will all the culprits be called to account?

Summary: Winner of the 2018 Excellence in Financial Journalism Award From Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Jesse Eisinger, “a fast moving, fly-on-the-wall, disheartening look at the deterioration of the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission…It is a book of superheroes” (San Francisco Review of Books). Why were no bankers put in prison after the financial crisis of 2008? Why do CEOs seem to commit wrongdoing with impunity? The problem goes beyond banks deemed “Too Big to Fail” to almost every large corporation in America—to pharmaceutical companies and auto manufacturers and beyond. The Chickenshit Club—an inside reference to prosecutors too scared of failure and too daunted by legal impediments to do their jobs—explains why in “an absorbing financial history, a monumental work of journalism…a first-rate study of the federal bureaucracy” (Bloomberg Businessweek). Jesse Eisinger begins the story in the 1970s, when the government pioneered the notion that top corporate executives, not just seedy crooks, could commit heinous crimes and go to prison. He brings us to trading desks on Wall Street, to corporate boardrooms and the offices of prosecutors and FBI agents. These revealing looks provide context for the evolution of the Justice Department’s approach to pursuing corporate criminals through the early 2000s and into the Justice Department of today, including the prosecutorial fiascos, corporate lobbying, trial losses, and culture shifts that have stripped the government of the will and ability to prosecute top corporate executives. “Brave and elegant…a fearless reporter…Eisinger’s important and profound book takes no prisoners” (The Washington Post). Exposing one of the most important scandals of our time, The Chickenshit Club provides a clear, detailed explanation as to how our Justice Department has come to avoid, bungle, and mismanage the fight to bring these alleged criminals to justice. “This book is a wakeup call…a chilling read, and a needed one” (

Other People's Money and How the Bankers Use It Book by Louis D. Brandeis

  • Release Date : 2009-01-01
  • Category: Business & Economics
  • Pages : 202
  • ISBN Code: 1605209759

Summary: The Economist magazine recently called him "a Robin Hood of the law": American lawyer LOUIS DEMBITZ BRANDEIS (1856-1941) developed the concept of the "right to privacy" in an 1890 law journal article, and-in this classic 1914 work-he denounced investment banking, corporatism, monopolies, and the consolidation of American wealth in the hands of a privileged few. In this collection of essays first published the year before in Harper's Weekly, Brandeis championed the progressive economic ideals of Woodrow Wilson's "New Freedom," explained how entrepreneurial efforts and small businesses were being stifled and innovation and competition smothered in the fiscal environment he saw, and offered suggestions for reversing the trend. Hugely influential at the time, Other People's Money and How The Bankers Use It may have contributed to Brandeis's ascension to the United States Supreme Court Justice in 1916 (he would serve until 1939). Today, it serves another purpose: to remind us how the great experiment of American capitalism went astray... again, even in the wake of this powerful and important warning about the same dangers a century ago.

Summary: Witty, gritty and wise, a brilliant novelist takes on the world's economic meltdown in a book that will define the crisis. The wildest story in the world these days is not fiction, it's what's really happening all around us as the world's global economy has gone into freefall. How did we get here? What does it all mean? How could so many smart people be so dumb and believe their own hype? Accessibly, cleverly, and with mordant humour, Lanchester trots the globe in search of the answers to these questions — to Iceland, the scene of catastrophic bank collapse, to Hong Kong, the city of his birth built at the altar of free-market capitalism, to the high-stakes leveraging of Wall Street and to the tragedy of lost homes in small-town America. And in his capable hands, we see and understand what went wrong and why. Lanchester believes that this crisis gives us an opportunity to bring about much-needed change and that a stonger and more compassionate system can emerge from the wreckage. This is the book that people will still be reading a generation from now, as we read Galbraith's brilliant analysis of the Great Depression.

I reply, I watched as Socialists destroyed Sri Lanka. Also, since I graduated with honors from Columbia Law School, I can explain clearly how Shariah is diametrically opposed to our Constitution. Islam is not a religion, but a political/ military/religious ideology that seeks to conquer America, just as it has conquered Europe. You complain, This book is too long. It is long because there is so much the media has hidden. You need to read the book and inform yourself. Then, liberal intellectuals cannot deceive you any more. You are afraid, The Media says I should not read this book because you are a racist, full of hate and an Islamophobe. I can only tell you, God gave me the courage to write this book. I know He will give you the courage to read it.

(A theme which implies many things, possibilities and perspectives.) Jake Kharinsky discovers himself in an unknown labyrinth, a clandestine initiation, and is unable to recall what leads him there. (The Decline and Fall fleshes out what Emmanuel Goldsteins The Book, from Orwells 1984, may look like today.) America, as we are conditioned and believe we know it to be, is dissolving before our very eyes. Ask yourself: what is it that is not being said? This analysis is not a black and white, an Us vs. Them simplification or pessimism (as many still hold to valid ideals in a system that no longer works for We the people.) There is no simple view, traveling towards our future from the elusive illusions of the past.
